TENANT SELECTION COMMITTEE:
1. Notice of Vacancy : A notice of vacancy is received by the Administration Department and they in turn notify appropriate departments.
2. Shortlist Applicants for Vacancy: A report is compiled from our waitlist for the top five applicants on the waitlist for the unit size available. Residential Reference Checks are completed at this time.
3. Applicant Interview: Once favorable references are completed, the successful applicant being considered for a vacancy is then contacted, an interview is scheduled and conducted by the Tenant Selection Committee
4. New Tenant Selection: After all interviews are completed, the Tenant Selection Committee then selects the successful applicant on the basis of Point Score System, interview results and application date.
5. Successful Applicant Notified : The successful applicant is then notified through telephone and an acceptance letter is mailed to the applicant.
6. Signing of Tenancy Agreement : An appointment is then scheduled with the New tenant to sign their Residential Tenancy Agreement. The Tenancy Agreement is reviewed in its entirety with the new tenant prior to signing and a copy is then provided to the new tenant for their records. |
